Some of America’s most recognizable brands have hidden images and meanings in their logo designs. FedEx cleverly hides an arrow between the E and X. The smile in Amazon’s logo is more than just a pretty face; it’s also an arrow that points from A to Z, showing the variety of products offered.
Did you know that Denver Water’s logo has a hidden image, too? Look for the water drop hiding in the white space of the D.
If you hadn’t noticed, you’re not alone. Many of our own employees hadn’t seen it, either. That’s partly why Denver Water recently updated our 23-year-old logo, giving it a clean, modern look. While the blue D is a bit darker and the font a bit more contemporary, the hidden water drop remains. Water is, after all, our passion.
Our logo may have a new look, but our mission remains the same: to provide customers with clean, safe, great-tasting water every single day.
Since Denver Water has been around nearly 100 years, we thought we’d take a look back in history to see how our logo has evolved over time.
